From Baltimore, Laurel, Columbia
(Points Northeast)

From MD-295 (Balt-Wash Highway) or I-95: Merge onto US-50/New York Ave., NE toward Washington. Keep right at the fork to go onto New York Ave. After 5 miles, turn left onto 6th St., NW./US-1/US-50. Turn right onto E St.
Lansburgh Theatre:  For the Colonial Parking Garage, continue on E St. and turn left on 8th St. The garage will be to your left. To use the PMI Parking Garage, make a left onto 7th St., and a right onto D St. The garage will be a block and a half up to your right.
Sidney Harman Hall:  The LAZ garage entrance will be on your right, on E St. between 7th and 6th Streets.

 

From Virginia
(Points South)

Via I-395
Remain on I-395 into the District of Columbia, crossing into the city on the 14th St. Bridge. At Pennsylvania Ave., NW (at approximately the 4th stoplight) turn right. You will then be driving East toward the U.S. Capitol. Turn left at the stoplight at 7th St., NW. Go North on 7th St.

Via I-66
Remain on I-66 into the District of Columbia, crossing into the city on the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge, which becomes Constitution Avenue. Remain on Constitution Ave. until you reach 7th St., NW. Turn left at the stoplight at 7th St.
Lansburgh Theatre:  Turn left on D St. To use Colonial Parking Garage, turn right onto 8th St., and the garage will be halfway up the block on your right. To use PMI Parking Garage, continue on D St. past 8th St., and the garage will be on your right.
Sidney Harman Hall:  Turn right on F St. The Garage entrance will be on your right.

 

From Annapolis, Prince George’s County

Merge onto US-50 W/New York Ave. NE toward Washington. After about 5 miles, turn left onto 6th St., NW./US-1/US-50. Turn right onto E St.
Lansburgh Theatre:  For the Colonial Parking Garage, continue on E St. and turn left on 8th St. The garage will be to your left. To use the PMI Parking Garage, make a left onto 7th St., and a right onto D St. The garage will be a block and a half up to your right.

From Potomac, Bethesda, Rockville
(Points West)

Get onto Wisconsin Ave., NW via I-270 and River Rd. or Rockville Pike (MD-355), which becomes Wisconsin Ave. Remain on Wisconsin Ave. Turn left onto Garfield St. one block after the National Cathedral. Turn right onto Massachusetts Ave., NW. Remain on Mass Ave. until you reach 9th St., NW (you will pass through two circles and one tunnel). Turn right onto 9th St. (one way).
Lansburgh Theatre:  Stay in the left lane on 9th. Make a left onto E St. and a right onto 8th St. Turn left halfway down the block for the Colonial Parking Garage. Continue down 8th St. and turn right onto D St. to use the PMI Parking Garage (located on the right).
Sidney Harman Hall:  Stay in the left lane on 9th. Turn left on F St. and drive two blocks, crossing 7th St. The LAZ garage entrance will be on your right.

Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter station on the Yellow/Green lines: Walk 2 blocks north on 7th St., uphill and away from the Mall.

Gallery Pl-Chinatown
station on the Red/Green/Yellow lines: Use the Arena/7th St. exit and walk two blocks down 7th St., downhill and towards the Mall.

The Circulator costs only $1 and runs daily every 10 minutes from 7 am to 9 pm.

Use the Georgetown – Union Station Line for both theater locations.

Lansburgh Theatre: Stop is located at 7th and Massachusetts Avenue, NW. Walk along 7th toward E Street for five blocks.

Sidney Harman Hall: Stop is located near the intersection of 5th and Massachusetts Avenue, NW. Walk along 5th Street towards F Street for three blocks. Turn right on F Street and continue past 6th Street.

PMI Parking
Closes at midnight.

The PMI Parking garage is at the corner of 9th and D streets NW; enter the garage from D St. Present your ticket stub to the parking attendant when you leave to receive the theatre rate of $7.00

Colonial Parking
Closes at midnight.

The Colonial Parking garage in the Lansburgh building offers elevator access to 7th St.; enter on 8th St. Inform the parking attendant that you are attending a Shakespeare Theatre Company performance to receive the theatre rate of $15.00

LAZ Parking
Closes 30 minutes after the show ends.

Regular event rate varies. Rates and hours of operation subject to change.

The LAZ garage is located directly beneath Sidney Harman Hall; enter from E or F Streets between 6th and 7th Streets. E St. is the recommended entry because of events at the Verizon Center. When entering, follow signs directing you to 620 F St. Elevators will take you to the Winter Garden lobby next door to Harman Hall on F St.

Street Parking
Street parking is difficult to find near the Lansburgh Theatre and Sidney Harman Hall. Parking enforcement is very strict and cars are towed regularly. Please read the parking signs carefully.
