Your love of classical theatre can enrich and inspire future generations
Making charitable contributions is an art unto itself—a creative process that adapts to the changing needs and wishes of each individual donor. Planned giving enables you to arrange charitable contributions in various ways that allow you to fulfill your philanthropic goals, often providing lifetime monetary benefits to the donor, along with considerable tax savings. The Shakespeare Theatre Company offers a variety of gift options.
- Charitable Gift Annuity
- Make a Bequest in Your Will
- Life Insurance Gifts
- Gifts of Appreciated Property
- Gifts of Real Estate
- Charitable Lead Trust
Any planned gift entitles you to membership in the Society of 1616, a very special group of friends who have included the Shakespeare Theatre Company in their estate plans. Members receive invitations to exclusive programs and events, such as an annual luncheon with Artistic Director Michael Kahn, access to the Patrons Lounge in Sidney Harman Hall, and published recognition for their generosity.
For more information or confidential help in planning your gift to support the future of classical theatre, please contact Amy Gardner, Associate Director of Development, at 202.608.6332 or AGardner@ShakespeareTheatre.org. We are available to answer your questions, discuss options, and provide sample gift illustrations at no cost and no obligation.
