Gala After Hours is a young professionals, black-tie event hosted by Shakespeare Theatre Company in conjunction with the Harman Center for the Arts Annual Gala. The night begins with a spectacular array of multidisciplinary performances in Sidney Harman Hall followed by a VIP cocktail reception with open bar, hors d’oeuvres, dessert, and dancing in the West Court of the National Building Museum.

2012 Gala performers include operatic soprano Lauren Flanigan, actor Bill Irwin, the Paul Taylor Dance Company, hip-hop artists The Q Brothers, and actor Jerry Stiller.Past Gala performers include the Joffrey Ballet, opera singer Denyce Graves, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, and Actors of the Shakespeare Theatre Company including audience favorites Floyd King and Ted van Griethuysen.

Tickets to Gala After Hours are $125 and include:

1. Seating at the Gala Performance at Sidney Harman Hall

5. DJ and Dancing with the stars of the evening

Proceeds from the Harman Center for the Arts Annual Gala provide indispensable
funds for the Theatre’s education and community engagement programs,
including the annual Free For All.
