Email STCtraining@ShakespeareTheatre.org or call 202.547.5688 to craft a unique experience for your organization.

Workshop Topics include:

  1. Acting for Business Professionals Intensive
Adapted from the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s popular multi-week Master Acting Class, this fast-paced, interactive four-hour version guides participants in an exploration of non-verbal storytelling, vocal performance and operative words as they apply to the workplace.
  2. Leading Roles: Communication and the Captivated Audience
Capture your audience’s attention, keep them engaged and deliver an effective message that will resonate with them long after the meeting is over. Exploring techniques utilized by stage actors, Leading Roles will empower participants to build trust, create the illusion of spontaneity and inspire action in their professional communication.
  3. Lend Me Your Ears: Voice, Text and Persuasion
Maximize the potential of every interaction – whether it’s a casual conversation in your office cubicle or a PowerPoint presentation for a board of directors. Employing a combination of improvisation and text-based activities, participants will explore language, intention and persuasion.

Workshop fees vary and are based on the type of event, length of the classes, degree of customization and number of participants impacted.

“Exceptional educators… The workshop was really well conceived…practical and highly applicable to our docents and to our space. Both instructors managed to balance warmth and professionalism which is quite tricky but highly important, especially with our crowd, and putting people at ease and creating an atmosphere of trust. What was so impressive for all of us was their high level of expertise, which they used as a tool to teach and assist and not to show off their wealth of knowledge. “
