Three Week Advanced Camp
Experience the challenges of creating and sustaining one character
from the beginning of the rehearsal process to the end of the play.
This three week Advanced Camp will provide returning campers the opportunity
to focus on one character’s emotional journey. The purpose of
this camp is to delve deeper into the text, discover how a character
develops over the course of the play and how the actor tells that story.
Campers will also explore how a concept is created for a classical
play.
Enrollment in Advanced Camp will be by audition only.
Families with returning campers, ages 14-18, may call the education hotline at
202-547-5688 to schedule an audition.
Auditions will be held on Saturdays in January, February and March in our rehearsal
studios.
The cost of camp is $995, which includes a camp t-shirt.
