Day of Performance Tickets
Individuals may get up to four free tickets on the day of performance only
at three different locations:
The Washington Post, 1150 15th Street NW
Tuesdays through Fridays ONLY beginning at 8:30 a.m.
1 1/2 block north of the McPherson Square Metro Station
The Shakespeare Theatre Company, 450 7th Street NW
Tuesdays through Sundays beginning at noon.
1 block from the Gallery Place/Chinatown
Metro Station on the Red/Green and Yellow lines. Use the Arena/7th Street exit.
The Carter Barron Amphitheatre Box Office,
16th Street & Colorado Avenue NW
Tuesdays through Sundays beginning at noon.
Lines at all three locations tend to form early.
Free For All Ticket Online
Please read the following if you plan on ordering tickets online:
- A limited number of "day-of-performance" tickets will be available
here from Thursday, May 22 through Thursday, May 29 only beginning at 8:30
a.m. These tickets may be used for that day's performance only.
Online Free For All tickets “sell out” in a matter of minutes.
You can still try for tickets in person at the three locations above..
- Online tickets will not be available the final weekend.
- You must have an account with us on our website to order Free For
All tickets online. (Your name, email, state and zip.)
- If you receive email from us, or have previously purchased
our tickets online, then you may already have an account. Click
