Join us for one of Washington’s most anticipated events: Will on the Hill.
Shakespeare Theatre Company’s annual benefit welcomes Members of Congress and distinguished Washington influencers to show off their talents by performing scenes from Shakespeare in support of STC’s arts education programs. This bipartisan tradition has raised critical funds for transformational learning experiences that reach students across the D.C. region for over 20 years. This year, we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States by promoting bipartisanship, civics, and cultural education in the nation’s capital.

“Each spring, members of Congress and the media are invited to show off their acting skills (or lack thereof). To play or not to play, that is the question.”
–NBC Washington“I would suggest putting “Will on The Hill” on your calendar…if you want to enjoy a fun night in the theater, see members of Congress act silly intentionally, and help bring Shakespeare to the young people of greater Washington.”
–Washington Blade“A great way for members of Congress to help local youth and poke fun at ourselves at the same time.”
–Senator Roger F. Wicker (R-MS)
