Text Alive! is a grant funded program. Acceptance into the program is partly determined by the Title I status of your school. What percentage of students at your school receive free or reduced lunch?


Participation in the Text Alive! Program requires your attendance at the following events:
There are four mandatory professional development workshops for teachers in the program. These classes are designed to build skills and confidence teaching Shakespeare by deepening your understanding and providing a variety of interactive lesson plans. These classes are held at the Shakespeare Theatre Company rehearsal studios on Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Dinner is provided. You will also receive a $200 stipend for your participation.

I understand that by applying to the Text Alive! program I am committing to attend all of the events listed below including the Professional Development Workshops.
