Text Alive! is a grant funded program. Acceptance into the program is partly determined by the Title I status of your school. What percentage of students at your school receive free or reduced lunch?

Participation in the Text Alive! Program requires the following commitments:
1) You will have to facilitate reading the play during the first 4 weeks of the program.
2)  This program will be the main focus of your semester.
3)  You must attend 4 mandatory professional development workshops. These classes are designed to build skills and confidence teaching Shakespeare and facilitating the Text Alive! program.  The workshops will provide you with a variety of interactive lesson plans. These classes are held at the Shakespeare Theatre Company rehearsal studios on Tuesdays from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Dinner is provided. You will also receive a $200 stipend for your participation.

I understand that by applying to the Text Alive! program I am committing to attend all of the events listed below including the Professional Development Workshops.
