Years Teaching with STC: 7
Why I Teach: “I teach to impart what I know to be tried and true principles of the craft of acting for the camera and I remind the actor to access the unlimited choices of their imagination.”
Best Exercise We Do in Class: “Tell me a little about yourself”—on-camera.
What Her Students Say: “Brenna’s encouragement in class and through emails for all of us to start pursuing this work now is really unique. She consistently provided individualized practical advice, and I was really impressed by her investment in our success.”
“Brenna McDonough was such a joy as a teacher – I loved how in touch she was with human connection and compassion, and care — with a little zen thrown in.”
“Brenna did an excellent job teaching and nurturing a large class comprised of people with a wide range of acting experience and ability. Despite being completely online, the class bonded much to my surprise and delight.”
