Classics in Context
Explore the plays of The Shakespeare Theatre's season in depth, as literary texts, performance scripts and in production. Through discussions, learn about production histories, social and cultural contexts, and staging possibilities while examining the relevancy of the production in its own time period and ours. Classics in Context seminars will be scheduled throughout the season to enhance the experience of attending the production in conjunction with cultural tourism packages.

In-Depth
Explore the production more deeply with an in-depth pre- or post-performance discussion that provides an introduction to the play or a follow-up conversation about the director's concept and the impact of the production. Arrange your discussion session with a member of the Shakespeare Theatre Education Department for a nominal fee.

The Art of Theatre: an appreciation class for adult learners
This multi-part workshop is structured around an element of the theatrical process, with special emphasis on the current production. Participants engage in discussions with artistic staff, guest artists and local scholars. Groups may schedule a series of workshops for any play during the season for a nominal fee.
