Charitable Lead Trust
Create a trust that pays a fixed or variable income to the Shakespeare Theatre
Company for a set period of time, after which the assets then pass to your
beneficiaries. The longer the term of the trust and the greater the amount
of the payments to the Theatre, the larger your charitable deduction. A
charitable lead trust can allow you to significantly reduce or even eliminate
the gift and estate taxes on the value of the assets used to fund the trust.
