In 2010, the Artistic Leadership Fund sponsored George Bernard Shaw's Mrs.
Warren's Profession, directed by Keith Baxter.
Artistic Leadership Fund
The Artistic Leadership Fund is a new initiative by the Shakespeare
Theatre Company that acknowledges and thanks our most generous supporters for
the vital role they plan in our artistic program. Their commitment to
STC contributes directly to the artistic excellence we achieve each season
on the stages in the Lansburgh Theatre and at Sidney Harman Hall. In recognition
of the part they play, Artistic Leadership Fund members receive sponsorship
credit for one STC production each season.
As production sponsors, members of the Artistic Leadership Fund are invited
to go behind the scenes with the exclusive Page-to-Stage experience. This includes:
- invitation to first rehearsal breakfast
- a visit to the design shops for updates during production period
- a private tech rehearsal
- acknowledgement in production program
- acknowledgement at Opening Night dinner
- signed copy of sponsored production script
Those making gifts to STC of $25,000 or more per year receive a membership
in the Artistic Leadership Fund.
