PARENTAL ALERT - We strongly recommend parents, guardians and teachers planning on bringing young people to our production of Titus Andronicus seriously consider the following.  Titus Andronicus is Shakespeare's most violent play. Although much of the worst violence occurs off-stage, like decapitations and the rape/dismemberment of Lavinia, there are episodes of realistic on-stage murder and violence.  The violence depicted on stage is written into the play by Shakespeare and is directed by Gale Edwards to focus not primarily on the violence itself but on the repercussions of violence.

Please call our Box Office at 202.547.1122, option 3, with any concerns you may have about bringing young people. Thank you.
