What is neos?

Neos is a community of undergraduate students from Washington-area universities including The American University, The Catholic University of America, George Mason University, Georgetown University, The George Washington University, Howard University, the University of Maryland-College Park and others. All college-level students interested in the arts are invited to join the neos community. Neos receive special invitations and information about the Shakespeare Theatre Company's student ticket offers, including Preview Week discounts, half-price tickets and other offers available throughout the school year via e-newsletters and on-campus postings.

Über neos Wanted:

Über neos act as direct liaisons between the Shakespeare Theatre Company and their college campuses by disseminating information about the Company's budget-friendly tickets, special events and audience-enrichment programming to their campuses.

What's in it for me?

Über neos receive complimentary tickets and invitations for themselves and a guest to donor-level events at the Theatre, including First Rehearsals, Invited Dress Rehearsals and Opening Night parties where they are invited to network with peers, local actors and Theatre staff.

Is being an über neo time consuming?

Über neos meet with Shakespeare Theatre Company staff twice a semester (usually a Sunday or Thursday evening) to see a performance, discuss the neos program and meet other über neos from area schools. There is no additional time commitment other than the time needed to post materials about student tickets. Über neos receive all materials necessary for on-campus distribution before the start of each show's run.
