In this unique criminal trial, the Prince of Denmark is accused of murdering Polonius, Laertes, and King Claudius. Hamlet is pleading insanity — but is he truly insane? Returning to the Shakespeare Theatre Company for the first time in over a decade, the case will be argued by world-class attorneys, with the Trial’s creator, Justice Anthony Kennedy of the U.S. Supreme Court, serving as the judge. It will also feature two expert witnesses and a grand jury of special guests, tasked with evaluating Hamlet’s mental stability and announcing the verdict.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company Bard Association is generously supported by Venable LLP; Bean, Kinney & Korman, P.C.; and Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP.
