Join Cultural Programs of the National Academy of Sciences and the Shakespeare Theatre Company for a free staged reading of R.U.R., a 1920 science fiction play by Czech writer Karel Capek that introduced the word "robot" into the English language. Visitors also need to show a photo ID to enter the National Academy of Sciences.
The reading will take place at the National Academy of Sciences Building, 2101 Constitution Ave NW. Limited parking available, closest metro station is Foggy Bottom.
