Henry Trebell, a fiercely independent politician, offers the first chance in decades to bridge the partisan divide and pass a vital initiative. But when a shocking scandal threatens to destroy him and his coalition, will all of his work go to waste? Presented alongside the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Leadership Repertory, this play by a protégé of George Bernard Shaw follows the complicated balance between the personal and the political.

Works for the ReDiscovery series are chosen by Artistic Director Michael Kahn. Guest artists join members of the Washington theatrical community to investigate these great but lesser-known plays of world literature.

Reservations required.

This is a free event.
