DIRECTING FOR THE STAGE

Prior Experience: Prior experience with directing not required; familiarity with theatre recommended.
Immerse yourself in understanding the rehearsal and production process from the professional director’s point of view. In this crash course on directing for the stage, open to new directors, actors of all levels, and those with a literary interest, students will discover their unique approaches to directing from the first production meeting to opening night through discussions and exercises in text analysis, staging scenes, and creating or critiquing production concepts and designs.
