Access Services


Patrons with hearing or vision impairment may reserve tickets for the performance of Hamlet on Wednesday, May 28, and Saturday, May 31. These performances will be both sign interpreted (Bette Hicks, Signmaster; Kevin Strachen, Krista Leitch Walker, Interpreters) and audio described.


Large print and Braille programs are available upon request at the Box Office at the Amphitheatre at Carter Barron.


Mobility impaired patrons may reserve tickets up to 12:00 noon on the day of the performance they wish to attend. You must be at the top of the house by 6:45 for advanced accessibility seating.

Carter Barron Amphitheater is accessible, with assistance, to persons using wheelchairs. Wheelchair patrons please note: Carter Barron Amphitheatre is stepped. Construction on wheelchair paths to the front of the Amphitheatre is not complete. Therefore, wheelchair access is limited to the back of the Amphitheatre. Please contact the National Park Service at 202.895.6000 if you have questions regarding access at Carter Barron.

Persons with disabilities who need accessible seating can reserve online here or by phone at 202.547.3230, ext. 2311, by noon on the day of the performance.  Please plan on arriving at the Amphitheater no later than 6:30 pm for priority seating.
